Welcome to the Astronomy Club of Lompoc (ACL)
ACL is an informal group of amateur astronomers that was founded as the Vandenberg Amateur Astronomical Society (VAAS) in 1985. Our members range from "beginner" to "extremely advanced."
We have club meetings once a month on the second Friday of the month at 7:00PM in the teachers lounge at Manzanita Charter School.
Membership is $20 a year for a family. The yearly membership fee is prorated, quarterly, for new members.
Visitors, prospective members, and anybody interested in astronomy, is welcome to attend club functions.
Summer Picnic
ACL members share more than an interest in astronomy, we like to have a picnic during the summer.

Holiday Season Meeting
We have held our holiday season club meeting at a local restaurant for the last few years.
